Stand Up Forklift Attachments - IC engine powered lift trucks are labeled in accordance to the fuel used. Type "G" forklifts are fueled by gasoline. They meet the minimum requirements for fire hazards. This is the most common designation found on gasoline fueled lift trucks. Lift trucks labeled "G" are not used in dangerous places for obvious reasons. The forklifts labeled "LP" are not utilized in unsafe sites. Type "LPS" trucks are fueled by LPG and meet all the requirements of a Type "G" truck. They have other pieces of equipment set up to the fuel system, exhaust system and electrical system in order to allow them to be utilized in certain dangerous applications. Type "LPS" lift trucks are used in similar applications to Type "GS" and Type "EE" electric lift trucks.

Type "G/LP" trucks are duel fuel units because they could be operated on either LPG or gasoline with no change to the fuel system. Lift trucks labeled "G/LP" meet the minimum requirements for fire hazards. trucks labeled "G/LP" are not used in dangerous places. Type "GS/LPS" trucks are duel fuel models as they can be operated on LPG or gasoline without any adjustment to the fuel system. These forklifts meet all requirements of a Type "GS" or Type "LPS" truck and have different equipment installed to their fuel system, exhaust system and electrical system, to allow them to be utilized in some hazardous applications. Type "GS/LPS" forklifts are utilized in similar applications to Type "GS", Type "LPS" and Type "EE" electric trucks.

Type "D" lift trucks indicate diesel fueled and meet the minimum standards for fire hazards. These lift trucks labeled "D" are not utilized in dangerous places. Type "DS" trucks are diesel fueled and meet all the requirements of a Type "D" truck and have various machine installed to the electrical system, fuel system, and exhaust system to be able to allow them to be utilized in some dangerous places. Type "DS" lift trucks are utilized in comparable applications to Type "GS", Type "LPS" and Type "EE" electric forklifts. Type "DY" lift trucks are fueled by diesel and meet all the requirements of Type "DS" lift trucks and also do not comprise whichever electrical equipment installed. These make use of air starters and include provisions for controlling the temperature of truck components. These type forklifts are used in similar application to the Type "EE" electric forklifts.
